Hilary Duff: Stylish on the “Gossip Girl” Set

Continuing to plug away at her guest role duties, Hilary Duff was spotted on set of “Gossip Girl” at The Gates in Midtown, Manhattan on Wednesday (September 2).

Wearing a sexy, black 1920s style cocktail dress and toting her pink iPhone in-hand, the “Cheaper By the Dozen” cutie is playing an actress who enrolls at a university, where she ends up becoming Vanessa’s roommate.

Previously talking about the experience working on the hit CW show, Miss Duff said, “Everyone’s been really, really gracious to me and sweet to me.”

Talking about deciding to take the role, Hil adds, “They called me and said come on and do a few episodes. I jumped at the chance.”

Not to sound like a Project Runway judge, but this collection is leaving me feeling underwhelmed. Not that I honestly expected Hilary Duff to wow me with her design skills, but creating a bottom that wasn’t leggings would have been nice (I think we can all figure out how hard it is to design a pair of leggings…) Looks like the leather jackets are your best bet here.
