“Gossip Girl” Stars Get Upfront

Out promoting their hit show, the stars of “Gossip Girl” turned up for the CW Network 2009 Upfront at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday (May 21).Representing the ladies were Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr - all of whom posed solo before joining alongside one another for a group shot.As for the fellas, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick both looked serious in suits as they posed for the cameras.And though the “Gossip Girl” cast seems to have secured a solid future with strong ratings, it was just announced that the CW has scrapped their spin-off plans of a show featuring Brittany Snow as Lily Rhodes.
